Homebuyers, Mortgage & Insurance
Whether you’re in the process of purchasing a property, re-mortgaging or looking for insurance, it may be required that you have a tree report produced to assess any associated risks that trees may pose to your property.
Tree Risk Management
We provide assessments on the structure and condition of trees and the associated risk for damage to occur. This includes the assessment of trees which can influence foundations through their rooting activity in soils surrounding the property.
Foundations can become affected by trees due to their uptake of water. When water is absorbed from the soil by the tree’s roots, this results in a change in volume. These changes in water volume result in the shrinking and swelling of soils. This is known as subsidence and is more common in soils where there are higher quantities of clay present.
Our assessment is used to provide suitable recommendations to mitigate the risks of damage occurring, either by the direct or indirect influence of trees.
